Chewbacca Maskstep Brothers
Division Hemerocallis
This week, we divide our daylilies to expand the selection in the nursery. It Geoffroy, intern training for adults, will learn this task today.
First we must cut the foliage.
must then dig up the clump by digging around the foot.
There is more to lift the foot of daylilies
you scratch the earth to see more clearly.
Then slice the heart with the spade.
It calls into
land half of the mother plant.
Part unearthed will be divided ...
... and repotted.
The daylily root very easily, the new feet will be exposed in the nursery as early July for the feast of daylilies!
