Ideas For Dentaly Hygiene Personal Statement

Bon ben I advanced a little and tried to define the activity sociotherapeutic .... Here's a first draft ...

To start we will define the activity sociotherapeutic in psychiatry, see what what it is, how it works, its goals, how it fits historically in psychiatry.

First, it should be noted that according to various publications, we hear of therapeutic activity, psychotherapy, socio-therapeutic, psycho-social therapy or sociotherapeutic. Much documentation that often define the same thing. For this paper, we used the term activity sociotherapeutic.

Here the definition of activity given by the website www.larousse.fr, online version of the famous dictionary:

"All actions carried out in a different sector, or which occur in a place."

Let's be more precise, and now define the term socio-therapeutic activity. First sociotherapeutic activity may be referred to occupational, and is defined as:

"A set of actions available to the patient as part of its therapeutic care, in order to maintain its capacity of life. "

Sociotherapeutic But activity may also be therapeutic, which is defined as:

" A set of actions that are included in the proposed treatment of the patient and which aims to conserve, develop or implement a patient's autonomy and its relationship skills, physical and gestural. "

latter definition refers directly to the proper role of nursing, defined by the decree of 29 July 2004 relating to professional actions and the exercise of the profession of nursing. Indeed, Article 6 of this decree we read:

"In the field of mental health nurse (...) (e) do all acts and anoint the following:

-Activities under sociotherapeutic individual or group

Monitoring and evaluation of therapeutic engagements that involve the doctor, the nurse (s) and the patient "

The nurse must therefore organize and facilitate these activities and it is within its own role. It should be noted that already, a historical point of view has always been in psychiatric care providers that support mentally ill their proposed activities, occupations. Then in the 80's are created, within the psychiatric sectors, structures to support patients through activities Sociotherapeutic. And even if the implementation of these activities can be done in all types of stuctures, some like the Center for Therapeutic Home Part Time or Day Hospital, specifically orient their work towards the re-socialization and the autonomy of patient through activities aimed at socio-therapeutic and put the patient at the heart of the city.

The main objective of the activity is to facilitate the relationship another in a particular context, to break isolation and create a link, that's why we say that the activity is a mediator of care.

suite soon we will see the framework and organization of an activity ....
